That’s why we offer a variety of engaging experiences and events designed to challenge, inspire, and motivate our students. Campus Life at Penrose Academy
When you join the Penrose community, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to be energized, challenged, and inspired by our campus events. Student contests, competitions, and Food-Truck Fridays bring variety and fun to campus life throughout the year.
Editorial Events & Shows
At Penrose Academy, students gain hands-on experience in editorial styling as part of our curriculum. Our Editorial Styling component provides opportunities to create and showcase work in a fast-paced, runway-style environment through dynamic editorial runway events.
Career-Building Opportunities
Our curriculum incorporates resume building, job interview preparation, and other activities to strengthen your professional skills. The on-site Penrose Connect event offers valuable networking opportunities, connecting students with brand representatives, distributors, product line reps, and potential employers. Additionally, we continuously update our industry job board with employment opportunities for both students and alumni.
Study Abroad
Our Study Abroad Program offers students the opportunity to embark on 8–12 day educational trips to some of the world’s most inspiring beauty and fashion hubs, including Tokyo, Amsterdam, Sydney, Paris, Dublin, Rome, Barcelona, Berlin, Milan, and Osaka.
Student Council
Elected twice a year by their peers, Penrose Academy’s Student Council provides students with the opportunity to take on leadership roles and contribute to campus life. As a member, you’ll help organize events like Wander+Wonder and collaborate with our Charity of Choice, Homeless Youth Connection, making a meaningful impact in the community.

I had a friend that attended this school when it was Kohler and raved about how amazing the program was. Also, when I came in for my tour everyone was beyond welcoming and I felt like I found my place. I love the energy of everyone here: students, educators, and staff!
