: What are the requirements to be a student?

17 years old and high school completion.

: What are the requirements to graduate from Penrose Academy?

Complete amount of program hours and successfully complete the final exam.

: Do you need to be a US citizen to attend PA?

We require either of the following: US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or DACA students. Eligible non-citizens submit DACA card, form I-94, and State issued drivers license or state issued Identification.

: What holds your spot in a start date/ on a wait list?

Once you complete our entire application process and finalize your financial plan, you will be eligible to enroll in the next available start date. At that time you will be able to be put on the waitlist. The application process consists of: Submitting your application, paying your application fee, and submitting all of your checklist items on the Penrose Academy app, as well as completing your financial plan.

: How likely are you to move up on the wait list?

Likely! There is movement on them. The more patience and flexibility you have the more opportunities there are on our wait lists!

: What are the next steps after I graduate?

You will receive a diploma from Penrose Academy, and the next step would be getting your license and/or certificate. Click here for more details.

: Can you transfer hours from another school to PA?

No. We want to guarantee every bit of your education from start to finish.

: What is the difference between the cosmetology hybrid program and hair hybrid program?

Cosmetology covers hair, skin, and nails. Hair only covers hair and is a shorter program.

: Do I have to cover my tattoos or take out my nose ring?

NO! We love creativity and individuality.
