At Penrose Academy, students have the opportunity to gain real-world editorial experience through a variety of creative events. These experiences not only help refine technical skills but also provide valuable additions to your portfolio.

Wander + Wonder

Wander + Wonder is our signature annual editorial styling and runway event. Inspired by a central theme, students, alumni, and educators collaborate to create editorial hair, makeup, and nail designs showcased in a live gallery of models in a runway and editorial environment. Friends, family, and the community are invited to celebrate this display of artistry.

Previous Wander + Wonder themes have included Halloween, Circus, Art, Elements, and Eras.

Editorial Events

Beyond the classroom, students have the opportunity to participate behind the scenes at fashion shows and industry events, including ASU’s annual fashion show, Phoenix Fashion Week, and local high school productions. These hands-on experiences allow students to expand their creative skills and gain exposure to the fast-paced world of editorial styling.
