For the past 17 years, Republic Media has recognized and honored many Arizona-based women who participate in SWON, Successful Women Owners Network. Penrose Academy President Jill Kohler has participated in SWON over the last several years and was invited to tell her story at the 2016 Awards & Breakfast.
Jill worked with Republic Medias newest partner Story Tellers Brand Studio to develop and cultivate a story about the art of coping, something Jill educates Penrose Academy students on as a part of the business curriculum in our Cosmetology, Esthetics, Nail Technician and Laser Programs. Penrose Academy and Jill were happy to attend this event that honored local beauty industry friends and leaders Beate Assmuth-Ong of Mane Atrracton Salon, Brenda Barnaby of Salon Estique, Debora Gallo-Capaldi of Pucci Salon, Lisa VanBockern from SkinScript, and Trish Gullbranson from Derma Health.
