Congratulations to Penrose Academy Esthetics student Kim C. who was the recipient of the MUD Beauty Changes Lives Scholarship. Kim is pursuing a career in the professional beauty industry as a second career after becoming passionate about skin awareness since overcoming a battle with Melanoma. Kim created a video submission to apply for the scholarship explaining what beauty meant to her. Beauty Changes Lives along with Modern Salon announced Kim as a winner on November 22, 2016. The MUD Beauty Changes Lives Basic Scholarship provides the winners $2,500 towards their tuition. Check out Kim’s video submission below!
