At Penrose Academy, we believe learning goes beyond textbooks and technique. We are building connections, confidence, and community. This year’s Spirit Week was the perfect reminder of how fun and powerful our culture can be when we come together.
Throughout the week, students, educators, and staff joined in themed days full of creativity and laughter. From Y2K day to color code day, every corner of the Academy was buzzing with excitement. Each outfit, each smile, and each burst of laughter reinforced what makes Penrose unique: a place where future beauty professionals can express themselves freely while supporting one another.
But Spirit Week is more than just fun dress-up days. It’s an opportunity for team bonding and culture building. Whether it’s cheering each other on in contests, collaborating on group looks, or simply sharing in the energy of the week, our students practice the same teamwork and positivity that they’ll carry into their careers. These moments help build trust, camaraderie, and a sense of belonging. These are the values that are just as important as mastering a perfect haircut, facial, or laser treatment.
At Penrose, we’re proud that our cosmetology, esthetics, hair, and laser programs prepare students for success not only with technical excellence, but also with the soft skills that come from events like Spirit Week.
