Kasey Nicole has been ambitiously pursuing the beauty industry since the age of 18. She attended makeup school in Los Angeles and worked there for about a year as a makeup artist. Shortly after, she moved back to Arizona to obtain her Esthetics license at Penrose Academy. Once she graduated from Penrose, she got her first job at European Wax Center. She loved the strong waxing foundation European Wax Center provided and after a year of gaining experience and focusing on her waxing speed, Kasey was ready to live out her dreams of working closer to home and having the creative freedom she desired! So, she took a huge leap of faith and decided to move to her own beauty suite in Gilbert, AZ. She offers a variety of services such as waxing, microblading, all things makeup, and spray tans – just to name a few! Recently, she has collaborated with 3 other businesses and together they have a created a one stop shop for all things beauty and skin care called the Pretty House Studio! Kasey’s creativity and passion for the beauty industry radiates from her and has helped her navigate her career… We are so excited to see her business grow!
Kasey Nicole answered some questions:
What have you been up to since you left Penrose Academy? After Penrose, I started at European Wax Center, then decided to take matters in my own hands and start my own business! Kasey Nicole Beauty was born, and I just recently celebrated 1 year as a business owner! Now I work out of a studio with other women and have merged into a one stop shop for all beauty needs!
What do you like most about your job/industry?
I love making other people feel confident from the inside out, every single day!
How did your education at Penrose prepare you for your job now?
It prepared me with actual knowledge and business help! I learned to value the high-class education I received and never sell my self short.
What advice can you give to our current students?
Stay motivated after graduation and hustle! Finding a job quickly will keep you in the zone and you won’t lose your motivation.
