These SMS Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the text messaging program operated by Penrose Academy (“Penrose,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By opting in to receive text messages from Penrose, you agree to these Terms. Please also review our Privacy Policy at penrose.edu/privacy/.
Program Description
Penrose uses this SMS program to communicate with prospective and enrolled students about:
- Responses to program inquiries submitted via penrose.edu.
- Admissions follow-up, campus tour scheduling, and appointment reminders.
- Program information for Cosmetology Hybrid, Hair Hybrid, Esthetics, and Laser Technician programs.
- Financial aid, enrollment, and student services communications.
- General customer service responses to questions you submit.
How to Opt In
You may opt in to the Penrose SMS program by:
- Submitting a form on penrose.edu (such as the Get Program Details form) with your mobile number and agreeing to the consent language shown on the form; or
- Providing your mobile number to Penrose staff and confirming your consent verbally or in writing; or
- Texting a keyword such as START to our program number.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of enrollment or of any purchase or service.
Message Frequency & Cost
Message frequency may vary depending on your level of interest, enrollment status, and the nature of your inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. Standard rates charged by your mobile carrier apply to all SMS messages. Penrose is not responsible for charges from your wireless carrier.
How to Opt Out (STOP) & Get Help (HELP)
Opting out: Reply STOP to any message at any time to cancel. You will receive a one-time confirmation and no further messages unless you opt in again. You may also opt out by calling 480-222-9540 or emailing admissions@penrose.edu.

Our SMS program operates on major U.S. wireless carrier networks including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Boost, U.S. Cellular, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy & Data Sharing
No mobile information — including SMS opt-in data, consent, and phone numbers — will be shared with or sold to third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data may only be shared with vendors that directly support our messaging service (such as our SMS platform provider), and only to deliver these messages.
Disclaimers
- Penrose and its messaging service providers are not liable for delays or failures in message delivery, which are subject to your mobile network.
- SMS services are provided on an “as-is” basis.
- Penrose reserves the right to modify or discontinue the SMS program at any time, with or without notice.
- These Terms may be updated periodically; the “Effective Date” below reflects the most recent revision.
